Le jardin des plantes (Coutances) is one of the oldest gardens in Normandy. It is a harmonious marriage of French symmetry, English copse planting, and Italian terraces. Classical music is played through the lamp lit gardens in summer evenings. |
The Chateau at Gratot : a moated, fortified manor house and castle where tradition tells that the lord of Argouges married a fairy, with tragic consequences. The fairy tower is one of 4 large towers which remain from the 14th and 15th centuries. |

Agon Point : the point and its 18th century lighthouse provide an exceptional vista of the haven of Regnéville. Classified as a protected natural zone since 1989, the estuary is partly enclosed by moving sand dunes. The area should be explored on foot. |
Pirou Chateau is one of the oldest in Normandy, and is surrounded by 2 moats. It can be visited during the season and includes an embroidery telling the incredible story of the conquest of Sicily by its owners, the norman lords of Hauteville. |

Granville : A town with a real maritime history, a working port and a marina. Walk on the quaysides and take in the atmosphere. You can also visit the Old Granville museum, the Richard Anacréon museum of modern art, the Christian Dior house, museum and restored gardens overlooking the sea and the archipelago of the Chausey islands. |
